Introduced to softball by her parents, Neveah initially explored various sports before discovering her love for the game. Little did she know that this particular sport would capture her heart, leading her to become a pitcher, a decision influenced by her father’s own history as a baseball pitcher.

Throughout her pitching journey, Neveah’s father has been a constant pillar of support, offering guidance and encouragement. In moments of doubt, her parents, especially her dad, serve as a wellspring of inspiration, motivating her to persevere when the going gets tough.

One of Haagen’s cherished memories on the softball field unfolded during a game against the formidable Beverly Bandits. Pitching one of her best games to date, she vividly recalls the loyalty and support from her teammates, both on and off the field. It was a defining moment that encapsulated the spirit of teamwork and resilience.

In the realm of softball, Neveah holds Jordy Baul as her favorite player, undoubtedly drawing inspiration from the skills and achievements of this notable athlete. Beyond softball, Neveah finds enjoyment in playing volleyball, showcasing her versatility as a multi-sport athlete.

Neveah’s aspirations extend beyond the softball diamond. Off the field, she sets high academic goals, aiming for straight A’s throughout all four years of high school. Looking toward the future, she harbors ambitions of becoming an anesthesiologist, showcasing a dedication to academic excellence and a desire to make a meaningful impact in the medical field.

On the field, Neveah’s goals are centered around personal growth and being the best version of herself. She is driven not only by individual success but by the collective strength of her team. Neveah’s journey is a testament to the profound impact of familial support, the joy of team camaraderie, and the pursuit of excellence both on and off the softball field.

What is the Alliance Fastpitch Player Recognition Program?

The Player Recognition Program was built to recognize and spotlight our individual players in each Member League. Each month, registered Alliance Fastpitch coaches can nominate a player from their age division. League Leadership will review nominations and a monthly stats report from AthletesGoLive (AGL) to determine the League’s Player of the Month.

Following the announcement of each League’s Players of the Month, the Alliance Fastpitch will recognize a National Player of the Month. To be considered for Player of the Month, your team must score League games in AGL so your stats will be included in the League’s monthly report.
