The Heart of America Fastpitch League (HFL) is excited to spotlight Trinity Rice as April\u2019s Co-Junior Player of the Month. Rice is a pitcher and 1st<\/sup> baseman for Oklahoma Athletics Premier.<\/p>\n

Rice had an impressive month at the dish and on the rubber in the month of April. The 2027 pitched 33 innings with only 6 BB, 48 strikeouts and an ERA of 1.69. At the plate, she boasted a .333 batting average with an OPS of .873, 12 hits, and 7 RBIs.<\/p>\n

\u201cTrinity (TK) has been on our team for a little over a month now, she is a two-way pitcher,\u201d her coach said. \u201cShe\u2019s a great hitter for us sees the ball well down in the zone. She\u2019s our only lefty pitcher on staff, which gives us a different look from time to time. We are excited to bring her on to this team. She\u2019s bringing great energy to our roster. She spins the ball well from the left side and is always a go getter, never afraid to try new things and step up whenever she\u2019s counted upon.\u201d<\/p>\n

Trinity\u2019s Softball Story
\n<\/strong>My name is Trinity my teammates call me TK. I got started playing softball because a friend of my mom found out I was a lefty and they needed a first baseman for her machine pitch Tournament team. That started me on the journey that I\u2019m still on. When we were fixing to move up to kid pitch, I knew I wanted to be a Pitcher and now when people ask me what my goal is I tell them I want to play for Patty at the University of Oklahoma BOOMER!!!<\/p>\n

Trinity\u2019s favorite Softball memory:
\n<\/strong>My favorite memory was when I hit my first legit HOME RUN over the fence and it was on my birthday weekend.<\/p>\n

\n<\/strong>The Player Recognition Program was built to recognize and spotlight our individual players in each Member League. Each month, registered Alliance Fastpitch coaches can nominate a player from their age division. League Leadership will review nominations and a monthly stats report from AthletesGoLive (AGL) to determine the League\u2019s Player of the Month.<\/p>\n

Following the announcement of each League\u2019s Players of the Month, the Alliance Fastpitch will recognize a National Player of the Month.<\/p>\n
