Fuel Her
Future.
Together, Alliance Fastpitch and the Natasha Watley Foundation are giving young female athletes the opportunity to compete, grow, and pursue their dreams beyond the diamond.

Two Organizations.
One Mission.
This partnership is about empowerment, access, and community. Alliance Fastpitch and the Natasha Watley Foundation share the same core values: we are female-athlete-first organizations that promote character and leadership development through the sport of softball.
Natasha Watley has been impacting the game on and off the field for three decades, including serving on Alliance's Board of Directors. Through the Natasha Watley Foundation, she provides opportunities for young girls to compete and use softball as a platform to develop confidence and leadership.
Competitive club softball has its own challenges with accessibility. The costs to travel, train, and increase recruiting exposure are real. Together, we help athletes continue their journey toward college softball and beyond.
Three Years of Impact
From launch to expanded investment, every year we've grown our reach and our ability to remove barriers for young athletes.
Laying the Foundation
The Alliance Fastpitch and Natasha Watley Foundation formalized a shared investment to launch the scholarship partnership, hosting the inaugural Home Run Derby fundraiser at a national event and supporting six athletes in the inaugural class.
Doubling Our Reach
Alliance increased its scholarship contribution to $5,000 and expanded the program to support 10 athletes across the country, growing both the competitive and rising star award categories.
Deepening the Impact
In 2025, Alliance expanded its commitment to $6,750 — encompassing scholarships, national event activations, and trophy sponsorship — while maintaining support for 10 athletes across 14 states.
Three Years.
Real Results.
Three seasons in, the partnership has raised more than $15,926 and supported 26 athletes across 14 states. Every dollar goes directly toward club dues, equipment, tournament travel, and development opportunities.
Geri Ann Glasco
Memorial Home Run Derby
A celebration of competition, community, and the athletes who inspired us.
A Legacy Worth Celebrating
Geri Ann Glasco was a softball sister who spent her life growing the game through her passion for playing and coaching. Each year at the AFCS, we honor her memory through one of the most electric moments of championship week — the Geri Ann Glasco Memorial Home Run Derby.
During Day 0 of the AFCS Skills Challenge, athletes in the 16U and 18U divisions go head-to-head in bracket rounds until one champion is crowned per age group. Then the 16U and 18U winners face off — and the last one standing takes home the title of Geri Ann Glasco Home Run Derby Champion.
The event raises money through QR code donations displayed on the videoboard and across social media, money ball activations, and Alliance matching contributions. Proceeds fund two Geri Ann Glasco Memorial Scholarships: one in partnership with WeCOACH, supporting young NCAA assistant coaches attending the WeCOACH Academy, and one in partnership with the NFCA, supporting first-time convention attendance for early-career collegiate coaches. Each scholarship goes to an assistant coach within her first five years who is committed to growing the game and has a financial need to attend.
