At nine years old, she moves to a club team, falling in love with the game as the competition grows stronger. Her passion for improvement and the thrill of the game only deepens over the years.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One of Delaney&#8217;s favorite memories comes from an unexpected moment in Tennessee. Though she&#8217;s not a pitcher, she steps up when the team is down a pitcher, striking out one batter and hitting two home runs in the same game, a moment of triumph she\u2019ll never forget.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Her favorite player, Denver Bryant, motivates her on the field, but outside of softball, Delaney enjoys spending time at the beach with her friends.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Currently, Delaney has her sights set on studying exercise science or sports management in college and winning a state championship with her high school softball team. Her coach, Joe Zuccarelli, describes her as the ultimate teammate and leader. Delaney\u2019s positivity lifts those around her, while her fierce competitiveness and powerful hitting make her a standout on the field. Off the field, Delaney excels academically, earning straight A\u2019s and giving back to her community through coaching youth softball clinics.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One of her coach&#8217;s favorite memories is when, as a freshman, Delaney hit a walk-off double against the back-to-back state champions, showcasing her clutch performance and unwavering spirit.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Alliance Fastpitch recognizes Delaney Kroll as Player of the Month, celebrating her incredible contributions to the game and her dedication to personal and athletic growth.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is the Alliance Fastpitch Player Recognition Program?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Player Recognition Program was built to recognize and spotlight our individual players in each Member League. Each month, registered Alliance Fastpitch coaches can nominate a player from their age division. League Leadership will review nominations and a monthly stats report from AthletesGoLive (AGL) to determine the League\u2019s Player of the Month.<\/p>\n<p>Following the announcement of each League\u2019s Players of the Month, the Alliance Fastpitch will recognize a National Player of the Month.
