The Northwest Fastpitch League (NWFL)<\/a> is excited to spotlight Mackenzie Coble as the Junior September Player of the Month. Coble is third basemen and catcher on Washington Acers 12u Liljenberg.<\/p>\n

Coble racked up an impressive .833 batting average and 3 doubles. The 2027 also played impeccable defensive all while locking down the left side at the hot corner.<\/p>\n

\u201cMackenzie is an instant sparkplug to the top of the batting lineup,\u201d said coach Mark Liljenberg. \u201cShe has the back of every player on her team. Her work ethic and dedication to the sport make coaching and teaching Mackenzie a very easy process.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mackenzie has been an athlete from a young age. She started playing baseball at the age of just 4. \u201cI played select baseball from 8u thru 10u as a pitcher and 1st base,\u201d she said. \u201cI switched to softball, and was\u00a0a 2nd year 10u player where I switched to 3rd base. I currently play 3rd base and help catch for my team as needed.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMy favorite softball memory is a tie – in 10u I had 2 home runs in one game, where one was a grand slam. My other favorite memory was from last season- I caught a line drive at 3rd and threw it to 1st for a double play that ended the Championship game and helped our team bring home the win!\u201d<\/p>\n

From all of us at the\u00a0Alliance<\/a>\u00a0and the NWFL, congratulations to\u00a0Mackenzie Coble for her achievements.<\/p>\n

What is the Alliance Fastpitch Player Recognition Program?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Player Recognition Program was built to recognize and spotlight our individual players in each Member League. Each month, registered Alliance Fastpitch coaches can nominate a player from their age division. League Leadership will review nominations and a monthly stats report from AthletesGoLive (AGL) to determine the League\u2019s Player of the Month.<\/p>\n

Following the announcement of each League\u2019s Players of the Month, the Alliance Fastpitch will recognize a National Player of the Month.<\/p>\n
