Softball Story (How did you get started?) – Tell us about you:
\n<\/b>I am 14 years old and this will be my 5th year of travel softball.\u00a0 I started out in T ball and then played in a Rec league before joining a travel ball team.\u00a0 I am a utility player but 2nd base has always had a special place in my heart.\u00a0 I am a freshman in high school and one of my goals is to play softball at a D1 college.\u00a0 I do not have a specific college selected but I do want to go somewhere warmer than Washington State.\u00a0 I am planning a career in the medical field which has always been my dream job.<\/p>\n
Softball has been a big part of my life.\u00a0 I think my biggest takeaway from my softball career is the friendships I have made.\u00a0 My softball sisters are always there for me.\u00a0 From TikTok dances to inside jokes, dugout cheers, taking funny photos of our coach, making some ESPN highlight-worthy plays, and the thrill when a teammate hits a home run, I don\u2019t think anything gets better than the memories we have made.\u00a0 No matter how bad life gets, I have always had a roster full of best friends.<\/span><\/p>\n Favorite Softball memory: It has been so fun to watch B grow into the player she is today.<\/span> B has the most supportive parents willing to provide opportunities and sacrifice for their two girls. Each month, registered Alliance Fastpitch coaches can nominate a player from their age division. \n<\/b>My favorite softball memory has got to be my team’s trip to San Diego last October.\u00a0 All of my teammates stayed in a huge Air BnB. It had a pool, hot tub, huge bedrooms, and a game room; it was amazing.\u00a0 We played a lot of scrimmages before the tournament and had the opportunity to play some really good teams.\u00a0 Hitting a home run in San Diego was definitely one of my softball highlights.\u00a0 During our free time in San Diego, we were able to go to the beach and had some really good bonding time.\u00a0 The best part of the trip was everyone hung out together and we were like one big family.\u00a0 To top off the trip, we were able to see our bestie, Tony Medina at one of his clinics.<\/p>\n

\n<\/b>Brooklynn is affectionately known as \u201cB\u201d on the team. She is a selfless player willing to step up to any position her team needs her to play. Not only is she game smart, but she\u2019s also a great student. She is one of the best on-the-field coaches that a coach could ask for. B is vocal and very good at instructing others on the field. She has a team player attitude with the knowledge and communication skills to help educate and demonstrate to younger players. Not only that, but she led the team in home runs and batting average last season. She has a game fortitude and smile that is infectious. She loves the game, and most importantly, she loves her team.<\/p>\n
