As part of the Alliance Fastpitch Player Recognition Program, we are excited to honor Pacific Coast Fastpitch League (PCFL) utility\/catcher, Serenity De Avila of\u00a0 Corona Angels Tyson as the Junior National Player of the Month for her performance in October.<\/p>\n
Avila\u2019s October at the plate resulted in a .583 AVG after 24 AB. Her 1.083 SLG, 10 RBI\u2019s, .643 OBP and 2 HR\u2019s showed exemplary skill at the plate for the 2029.<\/p>\n

Softball Story (How did you get started? Tell us about you-<\/strong><\/p>\n I started playing softball at 6 years old and catching at 8 years old. I love being a catcher but most of all I love playing. I constantly work by training to get better every day with the dream of playing college softball.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Favorite Softball memory-<\/strong><\/p>\n I have so many softball memories and love the experience of playing, evolving and look forward to this season with my Corona Angels Family<\/p>\n <\/p>\n What are some of your current goals \u2013 both on and off the field? (Softball, school, other athletics, related, etc. all welcomed!)<\/strong><\/p>\n On the field I strive to get better each day and my goal is to play for Oklahoma University and I work just as hard off the field with my academics.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n What is the Alliance Fastpitch Player Recognition Program?<\/strong><\/p>\n The Player Recognition Program was built to recognize and spotlight our individual players in each Member League. Each month, registered Alliance Fastpitch coaches can nominate a player from their age division.
