As part of the Alliance Fastpitch Player Recognition Program, we are excited to honor Rocky Mountain Fastpitch League (RMFL) utility player, Victoria Pearson of\u00a0 Firecrackers Gale\/Phillips, as the National Player of the Month for her outstanding performance in March.<\/p>\n

Pearson had an impressive month at the plate with a .625 batting average. The 2025 closed the month with an impressive 2.042 OPS, 7 RBIS, 2 singles, 1 double, 1 triple, 1 HR (hitting for the cycle), and 2 stolen bases.<\/p>\n

Tell us a bit about your softball story! How\u2019d you get started in the sport?<\/strong><\/p>\n I started playing softball at 6 years old. I started playing because my older brother played baseball and I wanted to be just like him. I have continued to play with my sister for 10 years and she pushes me to be better every day. And I am great full for my mom and dad who have grown with me throughout mine time in the game.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n What has been your favorite softball memory?<\/strong><\/p>\n My favorite softball memory would have to be when I was in 12u. I wasn\u2019t a very good player and I was struggling with my confidence. My team was in a must score situation and I was put into hit, I executed my first ever walk-off double to make it to the semi-finals. I felt as if I had grown so much in that moment as a player and as a person.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Who is your favorite softball player?<\/strong><\/p>\n Paige Sinicki<\/p>\n <\/p>\n What do you like to do outside of softball?<\/strong><\/p>\n I like to run track, weight lift, write, and study history and the ocean.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n What are some of your current goals \u2013 both on and off the field? (Softball, school, other athletics, related, etc. all welcomed!)<\/strong><\/p>\n My overall softball goal is to play collegiate ball and excel at that level. I want to inspire the younger generation while being a huge advocate for athletes mental health. <\/p>\n What is the Alliance Fastpitch Player Recognition Program?<\/strong><\/p>\n The Player Recognition Program was built to recognize and spotlight our individual players in each Member League. Each month, registered Alliance Fastpitch coaches can nominate a player from their age division. League Leadership will review nominations and a monthly stats report from AthletesGoLive (AGL) to determine the League\u2019s Player of the Month.<\/p>\n Following the announcement of each League\u2019s Players of the Month, the Alliance Fastpitch will recognize a National Player of the Month.
