The\u00a0Pacific Coast Fastpitch League<\/a> (PCFL) is excited to spotlight Madison Schepp as the Junior October player of the month.\u00a0Schepp is a 2027 on OC Batbusters Garcia 12U.<\/p>\n

During the month of October, the 2027 went 16-20 with an .800 batting average. Schepp racked up one double, one triple, 7 RBIs and six stolen bases.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have coached Maddie for the last season and a half, Maddie is a smart, fundamentally sound player,\u201d said coach Chris Garcia. \u201cHer skills behind the plate are solid and she takes great pride in being our primary catcher. Maddie has speed on the bases and is consistent at the plate. She is a team first player always willing to do what is best for the team-She loves to compete and does not shy away from the big moments. I\u2019m excited to her continue to develop and grow into an impact player for our organization.\u201d<\/p>\n

Maddie started playing softball when she was just four years old. \u201cI wanted to play softball because my sister played and it looked fun,\u201d she said. \u201cPlaying softball is what I love to do and I will never stop playing. I was born to play.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMy favorite memory is when my family and I were in Oklahoma for my sister\u2019s softball games and we went to the University of Oklahoma\u2019s softball field. That was so cool to be able to see the field in person. The OU softball team is amazing and I love watching them play. I look up to Tiare Jennings. She is an amazing player and an amazing person and I want to be just like her. My dream is to go to OU and play softball there when I grow up.\u201d<\/p>\n

From all of us at the\u00a0Alliance<\/a>\u00a0and the PCFL, congratulations to\u00a0Madison Schepp for her achievements.<\/p>\n

What is the Alliance Fastpitch Player Recognition Program?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Player Recognition Program was built to recognize and spotlight our individual players in each Member League. Each month, registered Alliance Fastpitch coaches can nominate a player from their age division. League Leadership will review nominations and a monthly stats report from AthletesGoLive (AGL) to determine the League\u2019s Player of the Month.<\/p>\n

Following the announcement of each League\u2019s Players of the Month, the Alliance Fastpitch will recognize a National Player of the Month.<\/p>\n

To be considered for Player of the Month, your team must score League games in AGL so your stats will be included in the League\u2019s monthly report.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
