Jaylynn Yebra, a versatile player for Colorado Softball Academy, excels at shortstop. Her April stats include a .545 batting average, a .571 OBP, 4 singles, 1 triple, 1 home run, 5 RBIs, and 6 stolen bases.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jaylynn Yebra\u2019s softball journey begins at the age of seven when her cousin invites her to play on a rec team. Since then, she finds a love for the sport, enjoying the team dynamics and the opportunity to make long-lasting friendships. Growing up in a family surrounded by baseball and softball, with a brother who plays baseball and often coaches her, she builds a strong relationship with him through their shared love of the game.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A cherished memory for Jaylynn is from her 10U team when she is up to bat with her team down by one run and a runner on second. She hits an in-the-park home run to win the game, a thrilling moment that stays with her.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jaylynn\u2019s favorite player is Sierra Romero. Outside of softball, she enjoys playing other sports like volleyball and basketball, and spending time with her family.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jaylynn\u2019s current goals are to play softball for a Division 1 school and to continue earning straight A\u2019s in school. The Alliance Fastpitch commends Jaylynn on her well-deserved recognition as Player of the Month, acknowledging her outstanding contributions to the sport and her commitment to personal and athletic growth.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>What is the Alliance Fastpitch Player Recognition Program?<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Player Recognition Program was built to recognize and spotlight our individual players in each Member League. Each month, registered Alliance Fastpitch coaches can nominate a player from their age division. League Leadership will review nominations and a monthly stats report from AthletesGoLive (AGL) to determine the League\u2019s Player of the Month.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Following the announcement of each League\u2019s Players of the Month, the Alliance Fastpitch will recognize a National Player of the Month.
