She\u2019s in 8th grade and she started playing softball when she was just five years old.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Her favorite softball memory is from the time she hit three home runs in one day. \u201cI hit one in each bracket game,\u201d Ballard said. \u201cI love the energy it brings to the dugout and the celebrations I do with my teammates!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This season, she\u2019s hit six home runs and 48 hits. Ballard has a .471 batting average.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cMy favorite thing about Addy is not her impressive stats, instead it\u2019s her drive and desire to get better each day,\u201d head coach Paige Shannon said. \u201cI have to tell the kid to take a break sometimes as she\u2019s always itching to pick up a softball and go to work. She has a bright future ahead of her and I\u2019m excited to watch it unfold.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">From all of us at the Alliance and the HFL, congratulations to Addy Ballard for her achievements!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>What is the Alliance Fastpitch Player Recognition Program?<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Player Recognition Program was built to recognize and spotlight our individual players in each Member League. Each month, registered Alliance Fastpitch coaches can nominate a player from their age division.
