The Texas Fastpitch League (TFL) is proud to name Aiyana Coleman the TFL’s 18U Fall Spotlight Athlete for 2021. Coleman, a 2022 Texas A&M signee, hit .444 with an OPS of 1.111.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Meet Aiyana:<\/h3>\n

Q: Tell us a little bit about you and your softball story?<\/strong>
\nA: I started playing softball in our local league at the age of 5. I had played many other sports but nothing clicked like softball did.<\/span><\/p>\n

Q: What is your favorite softball memory?<\/strong>
\nA: Staying with the team at the AC hotel in Oklahoma during a tournament in the summer.<\/span><\/p>\n

Coaches Feedback:<\/h3>\n

\u201cAiyana Coleman is a coaches dream, from attitude to effort, her approach to the game is pure and focused! AC has Incredible\u00a0 power and can drive the ball to all parts of the park and becomes dangerous when she goes the other way consistently!\u201d – <\/span>John Carpenter<\/span><\/p>\n

Aiyana is as good a hitter as we have in our entire program. Her plus power is unmatched and it plays in the game at every level. As well AC is a very talented defender is going to be incredible at the next level. On top of being an absolutely incredible softball player , she is an even more incredible human being and is the type of individual I want every young Bomber to look up to.\u00a0 – <\/span>Scott Smith<\/span><\/p>\n
