The 2025 showed exemplary skill at the plate this September with a .667 AVG and .750 OBP. Franzen ended the month with a 1.639 OPS and a .889 SLG.<\/p>\n

Softball Story (How did you get started? Tell us about you-<\/strong><\/p>\n I started out in tee ball playing for my dad like most girls do, but I never wanted to do any other sport. I fell in love with it and that hasn\u2019t changed, my parents had a hard time getting me off the field when I just started. Looking back not much has changed i\u2019m still a girl who fell in love with the game at first sight.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Favorite Softball memory-<\/strong><\/p>\n My favorite softball memory is when Ruthless got 2nd place in nationals. We came up from the losers bracket and fought all the way to the championship. It was fun to see us play at the top of our game and fight all the way.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Who is your favorite softball player?<\/strong>*<\/p>\n My favorite player is Odicci Alexander, I love her energy and her confidence. She worked her way from no recruits to being a starter for JMU. Her energy on the field is just great and the trust she had in her team. I love watcher her play and putting it all out there every time.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n What are some of your current goals – both on and off the field? (Softball, school, other athletics, related, etc. all welcomed!)<\/strong><\/p>\n My goals for this season is to have positive self talk no matter what, it\u2019s all about confidence. I also plan on passing all of my classes this year with an 85 or above. Another one of my school goals is to have good time management so I\u2019ll be able to keep my grades up and my game.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Coach Feedback-<\/strong><\/p>\n “Michayla is a great athlete on and off the field. She is always eager to learn and improve her game. We are excited to continue to watch her grow and compete this season,” said coach Torres.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n What is the Alliance Fastpitch Player Recognition Program?<\/strong><\/p>\n The Player Recognition Program was built to recognize and spotlight our individual players in each Member League. Each month, registered Alliance Fastpitch coaches can nominate a player from their age division.
