Softball Story –

Growing up I would go to the softball park to watch my sisters but actually would be running around the park with no shoes on being a kid. I became interested at the age of 4 and have been playing since. The past 2 years I have struggled a lot mentally which has affected the way I played. I’m starting to love the game once again. Learning that it is going to be okay to make mistakes it happens to everyone and to trust the process!

Favorite Softball memory-

A favorite softball memory is traveling as a team and bonding together in our late night conversations. One night that really sticks out to me was when a few other teammates and I picked up with the older girls and we had our parents sneak us cheesecake from cheesecake factory.

Who is your favorite softball player?

Jayda Coleman

What do you like to do outside of softball?

I have recently been into cycling and bowling.

What are some of your current goals – both on and off the field?

Some current goals for softball are going 2/3 at plate for high school ball and maintaining a batting average of .400. Current goals off the field are eating better, staying more organized, and cycling at least 4x a week.

Coaches Feedback-

Tell us a bit about your athlete? As a player, person, etc.

Jaccie is a great kid with a ton of speed, the ability to put the ball where she wants to and a high softball IQ. Jaccie can play both on the infield or in the outfield and is equally as talented in both positions! Jaccie is a great student, a hard worker and extremely dependable! I am excited to see Jaccie compete at the next level!

Do you have a favorite memory or moment of this athlete?

I remember the first homerun she ever hit in 14u. She was so surprised that she hit it out and sprinted around the bases. She was all the way around the bases before the team could get out of the dugout and to the plate to congratulate her! We had to tell her when you hit homeruns you get to jog!

What is the Alliance Fastpitch Player Recognition Program?

The Player Recognition Program was built to recognize and spotlight our individual players in each Member League. Each month, registered Alliance Fastpitch coaches can nominate a player from their age division. League Leadership will review nominations and a monthly stats report from AthletesGoLive (AGL) to determine the League’s Player of the Month.

Following the announcement of each League’s Players of the Month, the Alliance Fastpitch will recognize a National Player of the Month. To be considered for Player of the Month, your team must score League games in AGL so your stats will be included in the League’s monthly report.
