Q: Tell us a little bit about you and your softball story?
A: I started playing softball when I was 6 years old. My mom played in college so she encouraged me to keep working at it. To this day, her and my dad as well as many others push me to keep getting better. Softball tournaments every weekend is a normal occasion for us.
Q: What is your favorite softball memory?
A: My favorite softball memory was winning the State Championship this past fall.
“Eden picked up right where she left off this fall. After being part of one of the best pitching duos in the summer of 2021 (along with Emma Lemley who is now at Virginia Tech), Eden was just as dominant this fall. She had a 12-0 record and, in 61.2 innings, struck out 122 while delivering a ridiculous WHIP of 0.47 and an ERA of 0.23. Eden is a great teammate and a proven winner. She has won 2 straight VA State Championships in Volleyball and will try to earn a second straight state title in softball this fall. Eden maintains a very calm disposition even in the biggest moments. This coupled with her consistent track record of success gives her teammates tremendous confidence. We are lucky to have her and she will make an immediate impact when she gets to the University of Virginia.”
