League Position (Title): Co-Commissioner

Favorite Fastpitch Moment:

One of the moments in softball that resonates deeply with me isn’t about a winning score but watching players ascend to greater heights, and witnessing their genuine development and progress over time.

My name is Brian Madden, and I proudly hold the position of Co-Commissioner in our league. My love for sports took root during my playing days at Southern Nazarene University, a Division 2 school in Oklahoma City. It was there that I achieved the honors of being a two-time All-American and set lasting records for most hits, RBIs, total bases, and walks. Building on this solid sports foundation, I ventured into coaching. I’ve been fortunate enough to serve as the Head Coach at Southern Nazarene University Softball, take on responsibilities as the Co-Head of the Oklahoma Athletics Softball, and lead the Oklahoma Athletics National team from 2009 to 2021. Currently, I’m channeling my passion and expertise as the Oklahoma Athletics National Director and as the Co-Owner of Top Club Fastpitch Events.

Away from the diamond, I’ve pursued academic endeavors, earning a Master’s in Business Administration from SNU. Throughout my life, whether in a classroom or on a field, coaching has been my true calling. On a personal note, I am deeply grateful for the love and support of my wife, Nickie Madden, who is also immersed in the world of sports as a college coach. Together, we’re blessed with two wonderful children: our daughter Mackenzie, who’s six, and our son Aiden, who’s fifteen.
