The Alliance Fastpitch proudly announces Emily Lipe (2032) from the Heart of America Fastpitch League (HFL) as Player of the Month for her remarkable play in June 2024. Emily Lipe, a versatile player for Aces NWA 2014, excels in multiple positions—SS, P. Her June stats include a .400 batting average, 1 single, 1 triple, and 2 RBIs. Through 5.1 innings pitched, she had 5 strikeouts.
Emily Lipe’s softball journey begins in T-Ball. Her parents want to get her involved in an activity, and softball just sticks. As she moves from recreational to travel ball, she starts building friendships and a real love for the game. The heartaches of losing and the joy of winning bring her team closer together. Emily loves the competition and all the places and people she gets to meet and see.
A cherished softball memory for Emily is a recent game where her team faces elimination. In the last inning, down by a run with runners on 2nd and 3rd, Emily comes to bat. She hits a line drive to right center, driving in 2 runs to win the game. It is her first walk-off hit, and the team goes crazy on the field.
Outside of softball, Emily finds joy in the outdoors. She has a lot of fun hanging out with friends and going fishing. Her three sisters keep her pretty busy too.
Emily’s current goals include making it to college and playing softball, although she knows that’s a ways off since she is only ten. With the spring season just finished, she has a little extra time to work on her pitching. She hopes to have success as a team and win tournaments. While she is still undecided on career plans, she hopes to figure it out by the time she gets to college. The Alliance Fastpitch commends Emily on her well-deserved recognition as Player of the Month, acknowledging her outstanding contributions to the sport and her commitment to personal and athletic growth.
What is the Alliance Fastpitch Player Recognition Program?
The Player Recognition Program was built to recognize and spotlight our individual players in each Member League. Each month, registered Alliance Fastpitch coaches can nominate a player from their age division. League Leadership will review nominations and a monthly stats report from AthletesGoLive (AGL) to determine the League’s Player of the Month.
Following the announcement of each League’s Players of the Month, the Alliance Fastpitch will recognize a National Player of the Month. To be considered for Player of the Month, your team must score League games in AGL so your stats will be included in the League’s monthly report.
