Brooklyn Dent Named PCFL Player of the Month for December

The Alliance Fastpitch proudly recognizes Brooklyn Dent (2027) from the Pacific Coast Fastpitch League (PCFL) as Player of the Month for her outstanding achievements in December. Brooklyn, a dedicated pitcher for Batbusters AG, has compiled an impressive record, pitching 29.1 innings with an undefeated 6-0 record. The 2027 struck out 41 while only allowing 8 free bases, ending the month with an notable ERA of 1.43.

Brooklyn’s softball journey began with a spark of inspiration at Mary Nutter games, where she witnessed the skill and dedication of players. Since then, her passion for the game has flourished, driving her to continually elevate her performance. Each day, Brooklyn embraces the challenge of becoming a better player through hard work and determination.

One of Brooklyn’s fondest softball memories revolves around the joy of winning tournaments. The camaraderie and shared success with her teammates, even after long days, highlight the resilience and teamwork that define her love for the sport.

Taylor Van Zee stands out as Brooklyn’s favorite softball player, admired not only for her exceptional skills but also for her funny and silly personality. Brooklyn finds inspiration in Taylor’s all-around greatness on the field.

Brooklyn’s current goals include both on and off the field. On the softball diamond, she is committed to daily hard work to enhance her pitching skills. Academically, Brooklyn aims for excellence, aspiring to maintain a 4.0 GPA. Ultimately, her overarching goal is to attend school to become a speech and language pathologist! What is the Alliance Fastpitch Player Recognition Program?

The Player Recognition Program was built to recognize and spotlight our individual players in each Member League. Each month, registered Alliance Fastpitch coaches can nominate a player from their age division. League Leadership will review nominations and a monthly stats report from AthletesGoLive (AGL) to determine the League’s Player of the Month.

Following the announcement of each League’s Players of the Month, the Alliance Fastpitch will recognize a National Player of the Month. To be considered for Player of the Month, your team must score League games in AGL so your stats will be included in the League’s monthly report.
