Addy Watson Named TFL Player of the Month For March

The Alliance Fastpitch proudly announces Addy Watson (2028) from the Texas Fastpitch League (TFL) as Player of the Month for her remarkable play in March 2024. Addy Watson, a versatile player for 14U Texas Glory, excels in multiple positions—pitcher. Her March stats include a .480 batting average, a .517 OBP, 6 singles, 2 doubles, 1 triple, 3 home runs, and 13 RBIs. Through 19.2 innings pitched, she had 15 strikeouts and a 4.219 ERA.

Addy Watson’s softball journey commenced with T-ball at the tender age of 6, transitioning to kid/coach pitch by age 7. For the following four years, she honed her skills with the Keller Outlaws gold team before joining Texas Glory at 12.

A cherished memory for Addy stems from her inaugural travel tournament in College Station during her 10U season, where playing all night on Saturday due to impending rain created an unforgettable experience.

Addy’s admiration for Josie Muffley from Florida State shines through as her favorite player, drawing inspiration from her accomplishments on the field. Beyond softball, she finds delight in retail therapy.

Her current aspirations include maintaining excellent grades in school while nurturing a dream to become a college softball coach someday. Addy’s athletic prowess extends beyond softball, as she enjoys playing basketball and excelling in track events like the 200m dash and the 4X200 relay.

Recognizing her dedication and achievements, the Alliance Fastpitch commends Addy Watson as Player of the Month, acknowledging her remarkable contributions to the sport and her unwavering commitment to personal and athletic growth.

What is the Alliance Fastpitch Player Recognition Program?

The Player Recognition Program was built to recognize and spotlight our individual players in each Member League. Each month, registered Alliance Fastpitch coaches can nominate a player from their age division. League Leadership will review nominations and a monthly stats report from AthletesGoLive (AGL) to determine the League’s Player of the Month.

Following the announcement of each League’s Players of the Month, the Alliance Fastpitch will recognize a National Player of the Month. To be considered for Player of the Month, your team must score League games in AGL so your stats will be included in the League’s monthly report.
