The Alliance Fastpitch proudly announces Courtney Hargrove (2027) from the Texas Fastpitch League (TFL) as Player of the Month for her remarkable play in May 2024. Courtney Hargrove, a versatile player for Bombers Gold National 14U, excels in multiple positions—OF, 1B.
Courtney Hargrove’s softball journey begins at the age of four. She loves playing because it allows her to have fun competing against teams from across the nation while playing alongside her best friends.
A cherished softball memory for Courtney is from the Alliance Nationals in OKC in 2022. During a game delay, Courtney and her team, along with players from other teams, come together in the parking lot and start dancing to music while they wait to see if they will play.
Courtney’s favorite player is Ashley Prange. Outside of softball, she enjoys hanging out with friends and going on runs.
Courtney’s current goals include being an overall consistent player on offense and defense, playing with full effort all the time, and making it onto a D1 college softball team. For school, she aims to manage her time well, try new things, and maintain all A’s throughout high school. The Alliance Fastpitch commends Courtney on her well-deserved recognition as Player of the Month, acknowledging her outstanding contributions to the sport and her commitment to personal and athletic growth.
What is the Alliance Fastpitch Player Recognition Program?
The Player Recognition Program was built to recognize and spotlight our individual players in each Member League. Each month, registered Alliance Fastpitch coaches can nominate a player from their age division. League Leadership will review nominations and a monthly stats report from AthletesGoLive (AGL) to determine the League’s Player of the Month.
Following the announcement of each League’s Players of the Month, the Alliance Fastpitch will recognize a National Player of the Month. To be considered for Player of the Month, your team must score League games in AGL so your stats will be included in the League’s monthly report.
