AFCS Qualified Teams from 2020 Fall Championships

December 21, 2020The Alliance Fastpitch would like to congratulate all teams who have earned their berth to the inaugural Alliance Fastpitch Championship Series (AFCS). This Fall the Northeast Fastpitch League, Texas Fastpitch League, Heart of America Fastpitch League, and Southeastern Fastpitch League hosted Fall Championships where teams competed to earn an AFCS Tier I or Tier II berth.

The Pacific Coast Fastpitch League (PCFL) will host their first AFCS Qualifying events this January while the Rocky Mountain Fastpitch League will host their first Qualifying Events this summer. Additional Qualifying Events and League Championships will be hosted this Spring and Summer for every League. For the full list of AFCS Qualifying events, visit your League’s website or the AFCS page and stay tuned for more announcements on the 10U and 12U qualifying series.

The Alliance Fastpitch divided AFCS Tier I and Tier II berths amongst the Member Leagues. Each League divides their berths amongst their League Championship and Qualifying Events. A total of 64 berths will be awarded at the Tier I division for 14U/16U/18U, a total of 80 berths will be awarded at the Tier II Division for 16U and 18U, and a total of 64 berths will be awarded to 14U Tier II. The following 18U teams have earned the right to represent their League and compete for a National Championship in the 2021 AFCS. The 18U Tier I AFCS begins July 24, 2021 in Oklahoma City while the Tier II begins July 27, 2021 in Oklahoma City. Tier II teams will have the opportunity to earn a Tier I berth in upcoming qualifying events.

The following 16U teams have earned the right to represent their League and compete for a National Championship in the 2021 AFCS. The 16U Tier I AFCS hosted by USA Softball begins July 25, 2021 in Oklahoma City while the Tier II begins July 28, 2021 in Oklahoma City. Tier II teams will have the opportunity to earn a Tier I berth in upcoming qualifying events.

The following 14U teams have earned the right to represent their League and compete for a National Championship in the 2021 AFCS. The 14U Tier I AFCS hosted by USSSA begins July 26, 2021 in Viera, FL at the USSSA Space Coast Complex while the Tier II begins July 27, 2021 in Viera, FL. Tier II teams will have the opportunity to earn a Tier I berth in upcoming qualifying events.

This Fall, only the TFL hosted a 12U Fall Championship. The Texas Glory 2K26 and the Texas Glory 2026 both earned a Tier I Championship berth.

All Leagues will continue to host AFCS Qualifying Events this spring and summer for the 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U, and 18U age divisions.
