Bella Carazo named NWFL October Player of the Month

The Northwest Fastpitch League (NWFL) is excited to spotlight Bella Carazo as the October player of the month. Carazo is a pitcher on NW Speed.

In October Carazo pitched 22 innings with 4 wins and no losses. The 2023 only allowed 14 hits from 87 batters. In her 22 innings pitched, Carazo put up 38Ks and a 1.273 ERA.

It has truly been a pleasure watching Bella develop into one of the area’s top pitchers,” said coach Tim Jones. “Bella’s success in the circle is a testament to all the hard work she puts in. She commands the field with confidence and is explosive at the plate. I believe Bella’s pitching career is just getting started and I look forward to watching her compete at the next level.”

Bella started playing softball in the summer of 2023 and loved everything about the sport. “I have played every sport out there and never found one I absolutely loved,” she said. “I started pitching in 2015 and fell in love with the game even more. Softball has taught me so much about teamwork, never giving up, dedication, patience, control, commitment and most importantly it is ok to fail. I’ve accomplished so much in this sport and am excited to continue playing. I cannot wait to see what the future has in store.”

“My favorite softball memory is going to Florida this past summer with my team to play in the World Series and going 5-2 earning a 4th place finish. We went down there and worked together as a team and had an amazing outcome. My teammates are my best friends, and I would not be here without them. I love them all very much!”

Each month, registered Alliance Fastpitch coaches can nominate a player from their age division. League Leadership will review nominations and a monthly stats report from AthletesGoLive (AGL) to determine the League’s Player of the Month.

Following the announcement of each League’s Players of the Month, the Alliance Fastpitch will recognize a National Player of the Month.

To be considered for Player of the Month, your team must score League games in AGL so your stats will be included in the League’s monthly report.
