Super Cup Team Spotlight – Ai Bandits Breer

BY Jess Caron

The Ai Bandits have been a program for just 3 years but have grown to one of the powerhouse programs in the country. This 18u team helped build the program to what it is today. Coach Joe Breer has been working to develop a program that functions as a family, they have a huge emphasis on culture and growing the organization to function as one. The coaches also focus on fundamentals and developing their players to move onto the highest levels. Coach Breer speaks highly of all his players and of their development over the years.

The following are the Ai Bandits Breer players to watch this year at the Super Cup:

  • Yanina Sherwood is a 2024 pitcher committed to UNLV. She has a lot of maturity and has developed well over the years. Yanina is extremely close with the team and is part of the Bandits organization through and through.
  • Gabi Toney is a 2024 middle infielder committed to the University of Washington. Gabi is an amazing player and holds down the middle well.
  • Gracie Toney is an outfielder in the class of ‘24. She has developed her game a lot in the last few years and has become an exciting player to watch.

The Ai Bandits love the Alliance and respect all the coaches and organizations that are a part of the Alliance and have grown softball nationally. They enjoy the Super Cup because it challenges the team and puts them in a position to play the best of the best. They have coaches and leadership in place that have an unbelievable amount of dedication and are never going to take their foot of the gas.
