Alliance Super Cup – Stage 1 Central and West Recap

Stage I of the Alliance Super Cup Series presented by EvoShield is nearing the end. Both the Central and West divisions have completed play and advanced teams to Stage II. The final event within Stage I will be played November 19-21 in Clearwater, Florida. Teams competing in Stage I of the Alliance Super Cup earned their berth through their finish at the 2021 Alliance Fastpitch Championship Series (AFCS).

Stage I consisted of about 48 teams in each age division; 14u, 16u and 18u with Pool Play and Round Robin Saturday and Sunday. Top finishers from each pool advance to Stage II. All pool winners in each age division earned a berth to the 2022 Alliance Fastpitch Championship Series (AFCS).

Following all three events in Stage I, the Alliance will name an EvoShield Most Outstanding Player in each age division. This award will be determined by stats scored via AthletesGoLive. Stage I MOPs will earn an EvoShield prize package.

Stage II will take place in three locations:

West                January 7 – 9, 2022     Lake Elsinore, CA

Central            January 7 – 9, 2022     South Texas

East                 January 14 – 16, 2022 St. Pete/Clearwater, FL

A total of 32 teams in each age division will compete in Stage II. Teams will compete in a double elimination bracket with the winners of each bracket advancing to Stage III, the Super Cup Series Championship to be played in June in Colorado.
