Devon Drummond named PCFL Player of the Month for April
The Pacific Coast Fastpitch League (PCFL) is excited to spotlight Devon Drummond as April’s Senior Player of the Month. Drummond is a shortstop, 2nd baseman, and catcher for 14U BSC Bengals Nichols.
Drummond was great at the plate during the month of April. She had a batting average of .567, an OPS of 1.529, and a slugging percentage of .900. She also stole 10 bases and had a total of 17 hits during the month.
“Devin joined our team over a year ago and immediately contributed to the success of our team,” said Coach Nichols. “She is a leader on and off the field with her excellent play, support of her teammates, and her incredible work ethic, Devin is one of the hardest working and committed softball players I have ever coached. She is the role model for how to play softball, with intensity, sacrifice, and outworking everyone. Devin has a bright future ahead of her and it’s a blessing and privilege to be a part of it.”
“I met the game of softball at the age of seven and instantly fell in love with the sport,” Drummond said. “I enjoy getting dirty, the energy of the game and a good sweat in the weight room. My love of the sport grows every day as my competition continues to grow. I enjoy that softball teaches me everyday life skills that I can use as well as helping my team to achieve our goals together.”
“One of my favorite memories was hitting a walk-off home run to help my team advance to the semi-finals of a tournament.”

What is the Alliance Fastpitch Player Recognition Program?
The Player Recognition Program was built to recognize and spotlight our individual players in each Member League. Each month, registered Alliance Fastpitch coaches can nominate a player from their age division. League Leadership will review nominations and a monthly stats report from AthletesGoLive (AGL) to determine the League’s Player of the Month.
Following the announcement of each League’s Players of the Month, the Alliance Fastpitch will recognize a National Player of the Month.
To be considered for Player of the Month, your team must score League games in AGL so your stats will be included in the League’s monthly report.
