Cece’s journey into pitching began at the age of 8, a decision that would shape her identity as a player.

Reflecting on her fondest memories, Cece recalls the long and challenging lessons she experienced in her aunt and grandma’s front yard. These lessons were more than just skill-building sessions; they were a testament to her unyielding commitment. Cece’s dedication to each lesson was unwavering, ensuring she gave her absolute best until the very end. Her aunt and grandma played a pivotal role, consistently pushing her to achieve her utmost potential.

When asked about her favorite softball player, Dotts doesn’t hesitate to name her aunt. Cece strives to emulate her aunt’s passion and skill, making her a treasured role model in her softball journey.

Beyond the softball field, Cece finds solace in the pages of a good book and the strokes of a pen. Reading and drawing serve as her creative outlets, allowing her to unwind and explore different dimensions of her interests outside of the sports arena.

Looking ahead, Cece has set ambitious goals for herself both on and off the softball field. On the diamond, she aspires to enhance her softball IQ and further develop her skills as a first baseman. Off the field, her academic aspirations are equally significant, with a focus on elevating her GPA to secure admission into a college of her choice.

Cece Dotts embodies the spirit of a determined and multifaceted individual, seamlessly blending her love for softball with a passion for literature and art. As she continues her journey, Cece is sure to make strides towards achieving her goals, leaving an indelible mark both in the softball community and the academic realm.

What is the Alliance Fastpitch Player Recognition Program?

The Player Recognition Program was built to recognize and spotlight our individual players in each Member League. Each month, registered Alliance Fastpitch coaches can nominate a player from their age division. League Leadership will review nominations and a monthly stats report from AthletesGoLive (AGL) to determine the League’s Player of the Month.

Following the announcement of each League’s Players of the Month, the Alliance Fastpitch will recognize a National Player of the Month. To be considered for Player of the Month, your team must score League games in AGL so your stats will be included in the League’s monthly report.
