The Alliance Fastpitch and the Pacific Coast Fastpitch League (PCFL) are pleased to announce Serenity De Avila as the PCFL February Junior Spotlight Athlete. De Avila is a catcher and first baseman for the Corona Angels 2011 Roger-Edwards.

Softball Story (How did you get started?) – Tell us about you:
“I started softball at 6u in Norwalk,” said De Avila. From there I played up every season.”
Favorite Softball memory:
“My favorite softball memory is when we got the 10u Alliance Berth with Corona Angels.”
Coaches feedback:
“Serenity is new to our team, but it seems like she’s been here since day one,” said coach Chenita Rogers-Edward . “Her hitting has took our team to another level on offense. I’m very happy she has connected with the pitchers as a catcher. Definitely love this lefty!”
