Softball Story –

I was always around the game when I was younger watching my older sister play. By the time I could put a glove on I started practicing with her team. My entire family has been involved in softball for as long as I can remember.

Favorite Softball memory-

Definitely throwing a no-hitter last summer in the 2022 Alliance Nationals in OKC

Who is your favorite softball player?

My older sister Kaylee.

What do you like to do outside of softball?

I also play soccer for the Missouri Rush ECNL-RL team in St Louis.

What are some of your current goals – both on and off the field?

I want to keep improving my skills in softball and soccer. With starting high school next year, I will be spending most of my free time hitting the books to keep a high GPA and set myself up in a good position when it come time for college.

Coaches Feedback-

Tell us a bit about your athlete? As a player, person, etc.

Lexi is one our teams leaders on and off the field and she continue to improve in this area helping guide our group. She currently leads off for our team and has elite speed, explosiveness, and power. She can bunt, soft slap, power slap, hit for power all at a high average. Defensively, she has fantastic instincts with great hand eye coordination and has a unique ability of making the most difficult plays look easy. Lexi is dominate and an Ace in the circle recording several no hitters against top teams in the country this past season with a high strike out rate and extremely low ERA. She spins the ball well making her extremely difficult on the opposition and when the game is on the line you will see Lexi in the Circle. When discussing the top players of the young 2027 class she has to be in the mix. She can do everything on the softball field at a high level and with her work ethic and determination she can make her dream come true.

Do you have a favorite memory or moment of this athlete?

We have quite a few memories these past couple years but most recently she hit her first home run to straight away center and to see her eyes and her expression rounding 3rd base is something I won’t forget. It was a great moment for her and her teammates.

Is there anything else you’d like to share, include, or that we should know?

Lexi plays the highest-level soccer here in St. Louis and helps lead her ECNL team against the best soccer players in the country.

What is the Alliance Fastpitch Player Recognition Program?

The Player Recognition Program was built to recognize and spotlight our individual players in each Member League. Each month, registered Alliance Fastpitch coaches can nominate a player from their age division. League Leadership will review nominations and a monthly stats report from AthletesGoLive (AGL) to determine the League’s Player of the Month.

Following the announcement of each League’s Players of the Month, the Alliance Fastpitch will recognize a National Player of the Month. To be considered for Player of the Month, your team must score League games in AGL so your stats will be included in the League’s monthly report.
