Brinkley’s passion for softball is evident in her commitment to improvement and the joy she finds in the game. What keeps her going is the realization of the immense fun and potential for achieving significant feats within the sport.

Wing attributes much of her motivation and support to her mom and stepdad, who have played crucial roles in encouraging her to become the person she is today. Expressing gratitude, she extends a shout-out to the Texas Longhorns and the OSU softball teams, acknowledging their influence in helping her pursue her goals and serving as inspirational figures.

When it comes to softball idols, Brinkley looks up to Rachel Becker, Jayda Coleman, and Janae Jefferson. She admires Rachel’s prowess as a lefty hitter, while Janae’s skills as a slapper make her a role model for Brinkley’s own goals. Jayda, with her talent as a center fielder and hitter, stands out as the best player at the D1 level according to Brinkley. Each of these players serves as a source of inspiration, influencing Brinkley to aspire to be the best version of herself on the softball field.

Outside of softball, Brinkley is a multi-talented individual involved in school, volleyball, basketball, and track. Despite her diverse interests, softball remains her main passion and primary focus, both in the present and for the future. Brinkley’s dedication extends to her academic pursuits, aiming for straight As while maintaining her commitment to being a positive influence in the world.

Looking ahead, Brinkley has set ambitious goals, aspiring to continue her softball journey at the collegiate level, ideally playing for either Texas or OSU. Alongside her athletic pursuits, she remains dedicated to excelling academically and being a positive force in the world—a testament to Brinkley’s well-rounded and determined approach to life.

What is the Alliance Fastpitch Player Recognition Program?

The Player Recognition Program was built to recognize and spotlight our individual players in each Member League. Each month, registered Alliance Fastpitch coaches can nominate a player from their age division. League Leadership will review nominations and a monthly stats report from AthletesGoLive (AGL) to determine the League’s Player of the Month.

Following the announcement of each League’s Players of the Month, the Alliance Fastpitch will recognize a National Player of the Month. To be considered for Player of the Month, your team must score League games in AGL so your stats will be included in the League’s monthly report.
