AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2022)

Appeared in 28 games in the circle, starting in 21 of them … Went 8-13 with a 3.51 ERA, striking out 147 batters and logging two complete games, one shutout and a save … Recorded 14 games with seven or more strikeouts including four games with 10 or more … Struck out a career-high 12 batters at USC Upstate (2/26) in an eight inning, complete game effort … Became the third pitcher since 2014 to tally 100 or more strikeouts in a single season … Went the distance with a complete game victory over Eastern Kentucky (2/12) with one hit, four walks and eight strikeouts … Pitched eight innings of one run ball, allowing four hits and striking out nine in a win vs. Missouri State (2/18) … Finished the Texas A&M Invitational with 17.0 innings pitched, 10 hits, three earned runs and 18 strikeouts in three games … Threw a complete game, seven inning outing with two hits, two walks and seven strikeouts vs. Tennessee Tech (2/25) … Followed that up with 12 strikeouts and no earned runs in eight innings of work vs. USC Upstate (2/26) … Was the winning pitcher in Pitt’s upset victory over No. 3/3 Florida State (3/6) in Tallahassee, striking out three and allowing only one earned run in seven innings of action … In two games vs. Bowling Green (3/11), threw 8.1 innings with 13 strikeouts … Registered her third 10+ strikeout game at home vs. Robert Morris, allowing one earned, four hits and striking out 10 in six innings … Versus Boston College (4/14), struck out 10 batters in a complete game effort.

Appeared in 10 games in the circle … Held a record of 3-3 with a 4.05 ERA before an injury shortened her freshman campaign … Totaled 35 strikeouts in 38 innings pitched and tallied two complete games … Recorded two games with 10 strikeouts, including a complete-game shutout vs. Mercer Feb. 26.

 

HIGH SCHOOL

Attended Lincoln-Way East High School … Griffins went 81-13 in her three seasons at Lincoln-East … Senior year canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic … Earned All-Conference and Second Team All-Area sophomore year … Named to the All-Conference and All-State teams junior year … National Honors Society member, High-Honor Roll student all four years and graduated cum laude.

 

CLUB

Played for the Beverly Bandits and won the 16U PGF Premier Nationals … Played for Team USA 17U Junior Women’s National Team, winning gold at the Pan-American Championship in Colombia senior year.
