University of Louisiana-Lafayette

I chose the University because I have been a part of the Louisiana culture my entire life from being born there and living there to my dad working for Shell Oil Company in Louisiana. I also love the winning culture that has been established in the program at UL and the fact that coach Glasco is one of the best offensive minded coaches in the country!

I try to model my game after Taylor Pleasants because she is a big shortstop with great range, and she is a feared hitter as well.

My dad played mens division A slow pitch softball for years and when he would take batting practice every night at 9 years old, I would catch his fly balls in the outfield. He would get so worried thinking I was going to misjudge a ball and get hit in the face. Also, one day at batting practice around the same age, he asked me to throw him some pitches to get warmed up, so I pump faked him and struck him out.

I want to be known as a complete player. I want to be known as the kind of player that is feared offensively and as a vacuum on defense.

I want my true commitment to excellence to be shared about me. My dad has instilled in me that pressure is a privilege; therefore, I thrive in pressure situations. For fun sometimes, I add pressure on myself in not so big moments so I can focus better.
