Michael Jordan, because his competitive mindset in his life allowed him to be one of the most respected athletes of all time

both my parents played collegiate sports, mom- track dad- football

I want to help grow not only softball but all of women’s athletics as there are so many undervalued women’s sports that are just as entertaining if not more so than their male counterpart.

When I was around 10-12 my parents had a heart to heart with me about if softball was really my “thing” and told me if I was going to continue to play maybe I should at least quit pitching (they didn’t think I was very competitive).
