I went to a camp and I felt at ease, confident and comfortable. The coaches value the mental side of the game and see you as a person before an athlete. I knew it was my home as soon as I stepped foot on the field.
Sydney Loupe (LSU catcher), she was my travel ball coach and my catching coach. She became like an older sister to me, she taught me everything I know and made me the catcher I am today. I wanted to be just like her in every way growing up. I still look up to her to this day.
My Mom (Sonya) and Aunt Katharine played D1 softball for Southeastern Louisiana University, my uncle is Howard Dobson, he coached LSU softball and the USA olympic team. My cousin Trip Dobson is currently playing baseball at ULL.
I want to be remembered as a great teammate, someone that coaches enjoyed coaching, and a leader. I want to be an All-American. I want to be known as the girl who was fun to watch.
Me, my sister (Mady) and my mom were in a car wreck in 2010. My sister sustained what should have been a fatal brain injury. She was in a coma for 2 months. Doctors said that she wouldn’t make it but God knew she had a purpose on this earth and performed what can only be described as a miracle. Now 15 years later she is the happiest, friendliest person anyone could ever meet. She is at every game and loves watching me play. She’s my biggest fan!
