Sis Bates

“Be brave when you are scared. Be humble when you are victorious.”

When I am not playing softball I enjoy camping, hiking, or grabbing a cup of coffee with friends.

Ole Miss

I chose to further my education and softball career at Ole Miss because of the high-level competition and the supportive atmosphere. With that, I know I will become the best version of myself on and off the field while attending the University of Mississippi.

An athlete that has had a major impact on the way I play the game is Sis Bates. I admire her passion and love for the game. Each time she steps on the field you can always expect a smile on her face and tons of positive energy. She’s inspired me to express the same energy while competing.

My older brother Santino played varsity football and tennis at my high school. He attended Northwest Lineman College and is working in power substations. My sister Alexandra played several years of competition volleyball and graduated a year and a half early from high school.

I want to leave a legacy where I can inspire the younger generation to continue to grow our sport and play with honor. I also want to help lead Ole Miss softball to a Women’s College World Series then turn around and do the same as a coach in the future.

A story I’d like to share is my journey as a Firecracker. I have been a Firecracker for about 7 years and to end my Firecracker career I had the opportunity to finish it playing with coach Tony Rico and his amazing coaching staff. I am beyond grateful to have been apart of one of the best organizations in the country and make lifelong relationships. Traveling six hours to practice was 100% worth it.
