My oldest sister, Selene, played softball at Long Beach State and was a pitcher.

I want my legacy to be that I am an example that hard work pays off and the game knows.

That I am a proud granddaughter of Mexican immigrants who came to this great country to give my mom and then eventually me these great opportunities, like playing in this game and attending UCLA.
