SOPHOMORE SEASON (2021)
Named to the NFCA South All-Region team … Saw action in 56 games at first base or designated player … Finished the year with a .252 batting average, tallying 38 hits in 151 at-bats … Collected 14 extra-base hits with four doubles and 10 home runs, tied for second on the team … Her slugging percentage sat at .477, which ranked fifth among Tiger hitters … In 188 chances, she recorded 181 putouts and six assists with one error … In the Baton Rouge regional final against UL-Lafayette, she tallied five RBI on a two-run single and a three-run shot to center that put the Tigers ahead by six … In the final game of the season against the Seminoles, she went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run highlighting the evening.

 

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2020) – Season was cut short due to the coronavirus
Started all 24 games for the Tigers at first base or as the designated hitter … Had the best batting average on the team and was ninth in the league at .429 … Her .548 on-base percentage also ranked ninth in the SEC … Also had a .732 slugging percentage … Finished with a total of 24 hits including five doubles and four home runs for 19 RBI and 41 total bases … Walked 16 times … Hit the first home run for the team in the first game of the season on Feb. 6 against Central Arkansas, giving the Tigers a 3-1 lead … Also hit the second home run on the year two days later against Florida A&M, giving the Tigers a 2-0 lead … Hit first career grand slam on Feb. 19 against LA Tech … Also had back-to-back home runs with teammate Morgan Cummins on March 6 in win over Campbell … Earned her first SEC Player of the Week honor on Feb. 10 after hitting .667 in the first weekend with four hits, three runs scored, two home runs, five RBI and eight walks … Also recorded a 1.667 slugging percentage and a .857 on-base percentage in the first weekend of play … Had two hits on six different occasions … Had just one error at first bases and tallied 82 putouts for a .988 fielding percentage … Hit a career-high two doubles against Sam Houston State on Feb. 22 and had a career-high six total bases against LA Tech on Feb. 19 … Recorded a career-high three walks against Florida A&M on Feb. 9.

 

FRESHMAN SEASON (2019)
Played in 22 of the Tigers’ 60 games on the year with eight starts as the designated hitter… Had a .240 batting average and a .360 slugging percentage… Had six hits on 25 total at-bats and scored two runs for the Tigers… Recorded seven RBI on the season… Went in at first base against Iowa (Feb. 9) and tallied her first career put-out… Against Nicholls St. she singled to right center to tally two RBI… Pinch-hit for Aliyah Andrews in the Baton Rouge Regional against Texas Tech, and with no outs and bases loaded she walked to give the Tigers their first run of the game.

 

HIGH SCHOOL
An accomplished prep athlete and was recently rated 16th in the FloSoftball Hot 100 … A three-time All-District performer and earned All-State Second Team honors as a sophomore and Pre-season All-Greater Houston honors … Helped her team place in the top-10 at districts each of her three years … Hit .366 and had a 1.148 on-base percentage as a freshman to help her team to a second-place finish at districts and a Bi-District Championship to go along with area finalist … As a sophomore, Clark hit .400 with 12 home runs to help her team finish 4th at districts, a bi-district championship, area champions, regional semi-finalist and was ranked ninth in the state … In her junior year, Clark put together a .479 batting average with a 1.470 on-base percentage to finish sixth at districts … Played summer ball for the Texas Bombers, coached by Scott Smith … Was an honor roll student and a member of the National Honor Society.

Full name is Georgia Catherine Clark, born on June 30, 2000 in Houston, Texas … Parents names are Will and Diane Clark … Has two siblings Meredith and Addison … Plans to major in engineering.
