Stanford University

The combination of elite softball and the highest academies. Those are the two areas I have dedicated my life the most to and worked the hardest at excelling at.

Sis Bates— she plays with confidence and passion to make her presence known on the field. Although she isn’t the biggest on the field, she plays with a bigger heart than anyone else that makes her the center of attention on the field. She models someone fearless and passionate about what they love.

My dad played beach and indoor volleyball in college.

I want my legacy to be one exemplary of the passion that should be shown on the field for the game regardless of the outcome. I want to portray a leader to show girls the importance of bringing people together even outside the community of softball.

When I first started playing softball, at seven years old, I wanted to go to Stanford. My dad and I have talked about Stanford throughout my entire softball career, and never did I think I would be fulfilling my dreams of playing there. Dreams really do come true when you put your mind to it.
