I chose that college because I loved the environment, getting to be close to home, playing at my dream school and getting to play for coach Tarr. I am so beyond excited to learn and grow from such a good coach!

My role model growing up was my cousin Bailey Stenson. She played at the University of Washington and I always wanted to be like her!!

My older cousin played at the university of Washington when they won the national championship. My dad played baseball in college! Lastly majority of my extended family is over 5”9

A legacy I want is helping UW win another National championship. I want to have a name for myself in the softball community for always being an inspiring player. I also want to inspire younger girls to love the game and love the grind!

During my recruiting process I had a very slow start, on September 1st of my junior year, I woke up to no emails, no texts and no calls. I had an injury during the prior year and I felt like there was no way I could get recruited. I decided it did not want that to be the end of my softball story. I knew I had to lock in, I was putting in the work to improve my game. I had a really good fall season and my hard work ended up paying off. I got some offers and I ultimately decided the university of Washington is the best fit for me!! I am so excited to continue my journey!!!
