Favorite hobby/hobbies when not playing softball
I truly appreciate the opportunity to give back to my community and serve within my church. When I’m home, I love being involved in our Kidspoint ministry, where I get to connect with others and make a positive impact. While my passion for softball often takes center stage, I always prioritize spending time with my family and friends, making sure to nurture those important relationships as well.
What college are you committed/signed to?
George Mason
Why did you choose to that college?
I chose George Mason University for softball because it offers the perfect balance of high-level competition and academic excellence, but also because it gives me the opportunity to stand out and make a real impact. From the moment I visited, I felt the genuine support from the coaching staff, who value each player as more than just an athlete. I want to play for a program where I won’t just be another player on the roster, but where I can contribute to the team and leave a lasting legacy, both on and off the field. I’m excited to be part of a community that encourages personal growth and empowers its athletes to be remembered for their character, leadership, and contributions beyond the game of softball. George Mason felt like the perfect place where I could not only thrive as a player but also make a meaningful impact.
Is there an athlete you try to model your game after? If so, what athlete and how?
I come from a family where no one had ever played softball, so when I first picked up a glove and stepped onto the field, it marked the beginning of an entirely new chapter—not just for me, but for my whole family. While softball was unfamiliar territory, the competitive spirit definitely wasn’t. I was raised in a family that lived and breathed sports—everything from basketball to cheer. My greatest inspiration when it comes to athletics has always been my grandfather. He was a talented basketball player in his youth and went on to become a successful coach. But more than his accomplishments, it was his relentless drive, passion, and unwavering belief in me that made the biggest impact. From the very beginning, he encouraged me to chase my goals with everything I had. He pushed me to be the best version of myself, not just as an athlete, but as a person. Even though softball wasn’t a sport he was familiar with, he never let that stop him from supporting me. He would watch my games, ask questions, and always find a way to offer advice—whether it was about mental toughness, teamwork, or simply staying focused under pressure. His guidance shaped the way I approach competition. He taught me how to stay humble in victory and resilient in defeat. I truly believe that without my grandfather’s influence, I wouldn’t be the athlete—or the person—I am today. He has been my rock, my mentor, and my biggest cheerleader. His example instilled in me the work ethic and determination that fuels my desire to compete at the next level. Every time I step onto the field, I carry a piece of his legacy with me
Fun family facts!
Athletics run deep in my family. My mother played college basketball at Grove City College, setting an example early on of hard work and dedication. My grandfather is a true legend in our community—he coached basketball at A-C Valley, where the gymnasium now proudly bears his name. During his career, he earned over 411 victories and led his team to the state championship twice. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame at Clarion University, where he still holds the single-game scoring record for most points ever scored. Their legacy has been a constant source of inspiration in my own athletic journey.
What do you want your legacy to be in softball?
I want my softball legacy to be rooted in more than just performance on the field—I want to be remembered as someone who played for a greater purpose. My goal is to use the gifts God has given me to honor Him in everything I do, both on and off the field. I hope people see Christ through the way I lead, serve, and love my teammates. Whether in victory or defeat, I want to reflect humility, gratitude, and strength that comes from my faith. Ultimately, I want my legacy to point back to God’s glory, showing that softball was never just about me—but about using this platform to impact others and share His light through the game I love.
A story of me
My life changed in second grade when I was diagnosed with pneumonia, which began a five-year medical battle. I suffered from constant illness, dehydration, and intense pain that left doctors puzzled. Despite being labeled a medical anomaly and told to stop all physical activity, I never gave up softball. Even when doctors claimed the sport might be making things worse, I knew in my heart I couldn’t walk away. Eventually, one doctor discovered severe nerve-related tears in my upper digestive system, and I underwent a procedure that has helped manage the condition—though I’ve needed it multiple times. Through it all, I kept playing. Softball gave me strength, purpose, and hope. Today, I’m mostly healed, and I’ve had the honor of playing for top programs, and having the opportunity to play at George Mason University. Looking back, I know I made the right choice to keep chasing the game I love.
