I chose Clemson because it has a family atmosphere, and the community that surrounds itis extremely supportive. I really feel like I can grow within the program as the coaches really help develop their student athletes. The academic support and opportunities are unmatched.

My sister, I always wanted to be as good as she was, I looked up to her as a softball role model. I started pitching because of her. Her athletic leadership and abilities were unmatched.

My mom is the hall of fame 6 times

To inspire the next generation of young women who have the same dream I did, and too know they can achieve whatever their goals are with hard work, determination, and their undeniable love for the game. As well as being authentically you, you are your own athlete with your own unique mindset and abilities. Don’t try and be anyone else but you. Be the Strong female athlete that you know you are.

For my Senior Project I held a youth softball camp with girls aged 8-12. Within that camp, my main goal was to prosper young female empowerment. In that camp we talked about mental health, what it means to love the game, female empowerment (why the softball community is so special with that), and being authentically you. I have had the opportunity to travel around to many travel organizations and teams to talk about these topics that are so important to me and reasons I play the game.
