The look and feel of the campus made it feel just like home. I wanted to be in the midwest, and experience living in a new state as well. The players and coaches have established a strong culture that I want to be a part of, and they play in a very strong conference that provides a lot of great competition.

Nicole Trimboli, a former player at Nebraska (Lincoln), is my softball role model because she has made the biggest impact on me as not only a player but a person. She is my all-time “hitting buddy” and runs college prep hitting and fielding groups for athletes in Colorado. She has helped me learn more about who I am as an athlete and has guided me in finding cues and techniques that work for me. If the unpredictable Colorado weather kicks in and prohibits our hitting and fielding work outside, Nicole will run zoom calls that focus on everything mental, including special guests like Natashia Watley, Jennie Finch, and many others. She does not teach me hitting, she teaches me how to become a better hitter.

Dad – From rural Kansas and played baseball in college; Sister – Also plays softball and has won two State Championships; Mom – From Long Island, New York, (the polar opposite from rural Kansas) and the one non-athletic person in the family, but works hard at shagging balls in the outfield when me and my sister hit BP.

I want to leave behind that I was the hardest worker someone had seen, took advantage of every opportunity I had, and displayed God through everything I did.

I started out as a left-handed catcher who hit right-handed, but my 12u coach decided that wasn’t very smart, and switched me over to a lefty hitter and outfielder, making a lot more sense.
