I felt at home and very comfortable there, and I want to win a national championship. Not only that but I felt the University of Oregon would set me up for success on and off the field.

Growing up my role model when it came to sports was my brother. He did not play softball but he played baseball and he taught me a lot of what I know. I always tried to be like him.

We love to hunt on the island of Molokai and we can harvest more deer in one year than people do in a lifetime because we do not have a limit here in Hawaii.

I want my legacy in softball to be about more than just wins or stats. I hope to be remembered as someone who played with passion, integrity, and heart—someone who lifted up their teammates, stayed resilient through challenges, and inspired others to believe in themselves. I want younger players to look at my journey and know that hard work, respect for the game, and love for your team can take you far.

The first time I ever went hunting with my dad I got a black eye from the recoil of shooting the gun.
