Named Southland’s Player of the Year and Hitter of the Year, the first time this honor has been awarded to an Islander softball player … honored on the All-Conference First-Team … made the 2022 Southland Conference All-Tournament Team … only player to start in all 52 games … broke the program’s single-season record for batting average (.426), on-base percentage (.555), slugging percentage (.794), runs scored (48), total bases (123) and stolen bases (27) … tied the single-season record for doubles (17) and home runs (12) … led the conference in slugging percentage, on-base percentage, doubles, home runs and is tied with fellow teammate Sydney Hoyt for walks (39) … she registered 66 hits and 36 RBIs … tallied 21 multi-hit games … ended the season on a 29-game streak of reaching base

All-Conference Third-Team selection… started in 47 of 48 games, including all 24 conference games… led the team in on-base percentage with a .441 mark… hit for a .299 average and an .811 OPS… ranked third in the SLC in walks with 26… led the team with 12 multi-hit games… started the season by reaching base safely in all of the first 17 games… went 21-for-24 in stolen bases, including 10-of-11 in conference… homered against Kansas… registered six doubles, 22 runs scored and 20 RBIs… knocked two hits in three consecutive games against UT Arlington, Wichita State and Missouri State… recorded a pair of hits and a walk at No. 10 Texas
Vernon College
Played two seasons for Vernon College in Texas…named the 2019 Team MVP and earned First Team All-Conference honors… hit for a .561 average, .612 on-base percentage and 1.175 slugging… cranked eight homers to go along with nine doubles and a triple… registered 36 RBIs in 21 games… stole six bases… three-time Player of the Week winner… was on pace in Spring 2020 to break the single season home run record before COVID-19 hit… led the team to first 30-win season in 10 years and first regional tournament appearance in five years… helped softball post the best overall team sports record at the school
HIGH SCHOOL
Attended Independence High School…named to the SYL All-League First Team and Varsity All-Area Team as a junior and senior…earned California Medium Schools All-State and First Team All-American honors in 2017…took her team to back-to-back SYL League Championships during her junior and senior seasons…appeared in two CIF Division 3 Championship games, winning one in 2017…2016 CIF Division 3 Player of the Game…named Best Offensive Player three straight seasons.

Born Sept. 13, 2000… daughter of Anthony Gordon II and Vicki Willis… has six siblings Atreus, Jazi, Halo, Anthony III, Aniyah and Jorge… related to Jamal Willis on the San Francisco 49ers… enjoys photography, graphic design, videography, playing the drums and writing music… favorite athletes are Conor McGregor, Sis Bates and Bryce Harper… majoring in marketing with a minor in entrepreneur… she’s the first person in her family to attend college.
