As a pitcher, I couldn’t turn down the opportunity to learn from Coach White. I love Austin and the team. I felt that Texas was the place I would grow the most.

Danielle Lawrie’s mentality and tenacity is really inspiring and Georgina Corrick’s composure and effortlessness while pitching is really inspiring.

My family is the best, they’ve never doubted me for a second. My mom was a pitcher and pitched in college for a couple years, and my older brother always caught me growing up.

I want my legacy to show girls that they are more than capable. Even if all the odds are against them they are worthy and capable of living out their dreams. I want them to know that they matter, they need to stick together, and that their voices are needed in our world.

I never played high school softball. In Iowa, softball is played in the summer, so I’ve always chosen to play club ball instead during the summer. It’s kind of frustrating that Iowa girls have to make a choice but I felt that playing travel ball would be more beneficial to my development and provide me with more opportunities to be seen by coaches from all over the country, not just in Iowa.
