The Alliance Fastpitch Announces 2024 Player Advisory Committee Members: Elevating Athlete Voices in Softball Leadership

The Alliance Fastpitch proudly unveils the lineup for its 2024 Player Advisory Committee (PAC), continuing its commitment to centering athletes in the heart of softball leadership. Established in the Spring of 2023, the PAC is made up of high school junior and senior athletes from diverse backgrounds, states, and travel ball organizations across the Alliance Fastpitch.

Built on The Alliance’s foundation of putting athletes first, the Player Advisory Committee serves as the national voice of Alliance athletes. With a debut at the 2023 Alliance Fastpitch Championship Series in Fullerton, CA, the PAC leaders set the stage for athlete-driven insights, launching the first-ever athlete-to-athlete live panel.

The PAC plays a pivotal role in providing Alliance leadership with invaluable insights into the youth athlete experience. These athletes offer crucial input on Alliance policies, rules, programming, and membership benefits that impact the lives of Alliance athletes both on and off the field.

Selection to the PAC is open to high school juniors and seniors who are current Alliance members. The application process ensures a diverse representation, spanning geographical locations, club teams, and Alliance member leagues. The national committee overseeing the PAC includes Alliance Fastpitch Board of Directors, Staff, League Officials, and Coaches—all former players providing guidance and mentorship.

The 2024 PAC comprises representatives from 8 out of the 9 Alliance Leagues, extending from the east coast to the west coast. Eight members from the 2023 PAC, including Addison Lund (HFL), Caroline Glenn (HFL), DeeDee Baldwin (TFL), Desiree Morales (PCFL), Madison Ecker (HFL), Peyton Heisler (NEFL), Sydney Gilbert (HFL), and Zoe Levine (HFL), are returning for the 2024 season.

The Alliance Fastpitch remains steadfast in its goal of consistent and diverse representation at every PAC meeting. By amplifying athlete voices through the PAC, the Alliance aims to empower the future of softball, fostering a community-driven approach to leadership.
