Madi Doty, a versatile player for Texas Glory KDS, excels on the pitching mound. Her July stats include a .357 batting average, a 0.386 OBP, 5 homeruns, 3 doubles, 7 singles, and 12 RBIs. Through 74.2 innings pitched, she had 114 strikeouts and a .47 ERA.

Madi Doty’s softball journey begins when she’s just four years old, hitting baseballs off a tee in her front yard with her dad. It’s in those early moments that Madi falls in love with the game. She knows, even then, that the field is where she’s meant to be. Inspired by her dad’s college softball stories and photos, she takes her first steps into the sport, driven by the same passion that fueled him.

One of Madi’s most cherished memories is winning her first gold medal with the USA U15 Women’s National Team in Peru last spring. The accomplishment marks a significant milestone in her career and is a testament to her hard work and dedication to the game she loves.

Her favorite softball player is Meagan Denny White, someone Madi admires for both her skill and approach to the game. Off the field, Madi finds joy in shopping, a fun escape where she can unwind and enjoy some time away from the pressures of sports.

Currently, Madi sets ambitious goals for herself. She wants to hit 75 mph with her pitching, a milestone she’s determined to reach. In school, she aims to maintain an A in the college courses she’s taking this year, balancing her academic and athletic aspirations with discipline and focus. What is the Alliance Fastpitch Player Recognition Program?

The Player Recognition Program was built to recognize and spotlight our individual players in each Member League. Each month, registered Alliance Fastpitch coaches can nominate a player from their age division. League Leadership will review nominations and a monthly stats report from AthletesGoLive (AGL) to determine the League’s Player of the Month.

Following the announcement of each League’s Players of the Month, the Alliance Fastpitch will recognize a National Player of the Month. To be considered for Player of the Month, your team must score League games in AGL so your stats will be included in the League’s monthly report.
