The Alliance Fastpitch proudly announces Piper Hoppel (2030) from the NEFL as National Player of the Month for her remarkable play in September 2024. Piper Hoppel a versatile player for Team PA 2K12 Larcinese, excels in the infield- Shortstop. Her September stats include a .857 batting average, a .867 OBP, 1 triple, 1 double, 10 singles, 9 RBIs, and 5 stolen bases.

Piper Hoppel’s softball journey begins long before she steps onto the field today. She has been playing since she was four years old, starting with Biddy Ball where her dad served as her coach. By the age of eight, she transitions to travel softball, a passion she carries with her to this day. Piper loves the sport more than anything, cherishing the relationships she builds with her teammates and the opportunity to travel across the country to play.

One of her most cherished memories is participating in the Little League Softball World Series, where her team made it to the final four, marking a milestone in her athletic career. This experience stands as a testament to her dedication and love for the game.

Her favorite player, Sis Bates, inspires Piper both on and off the field. Outside of softball, Piper enjoys staying active by playing basketball and flag football, as well as spending time with friends and family.

As for her current goals, Piper is committed to maintaining excellent grades as part of her academic career, with the long-term dream of earning a scholarship to play softball in college. The Alliance Fastpitch commends Piper Hoppel on her well-deserved recognition as Player of the Month, acknowledging her outstanding contributions to the sport and her commitment to personal and athletic growth.

What is the Alliance Fastpitch Player Recognition Program?

The Player Recognition Program was built to recognize and spotlight our individual players in each Member League. Each month, registered Alliance Fastpitch coaches can nominate a player from their age division. League Leadership will review nominations and a monthly stats report from AthletesGoLive (AGL) to determine the League’s Player of the Month.

Following the announcement of each League’s Players of the Month, the Alliance Fastpitch will recognize a National Player of the Month. To be considered for Player of the Month, your team must score League games in AGL so your stats will be included in the League’s monthly report.
