The Alliance Fastpitch proudly announces Pressly Villalva 2028 from the PCFL as National Player of the Month for her remarkable play in December 2024. Pressly, a versatile player for OC Batbusters Vidano, excels in the infield—SS. Her December stats include a 0.632 batting average, a 0.68 OBP, 9 singles, 1 double, 1 triple, 1 homerun and 10 RBIs. 

Pressly Villalva’s softball journey begins at a young age. She starts playing when she is just five years old, inspired by watching her sister and her friends play since infancy. Initially, she takes on the role of a pitcher, but by the time she reaches 12U, Pressly decides she prefers playing in the infield. She loves the challenge of the sport and the close bond she shares with her teammates. The camaraderie and fun they have together keep her motivated and passionate about the game.

One of Pressly’s most cherished memories on the field is when she hits a walk-off line drive in an Alliance Championship game. The team needs the win to stay in the competition, and the victory feels incredibly rewarding.

While her favorite player is Maya Brady, Pressly also finds joy outside of softball. She enjoys playing beach volleyball, exploring new restaurants with friends, and indulging in cooking and baking.

As for her current goals, Pressly is determined to hit more home runs in softball, having hit two so far but always striving for more. Off the field, she aims to earn straight A’s in school, as she is considering a future career as a doctor. Additionally, she plans to try out for her high school’s varsity volleyball team next year, hoping to add another accomplishment to her growing list.The Alliance Fastpitch commends Pressly Villalva on her well-deserved recognition as Player of the Month, acknowledging her outstanding contributions to the sport and her commitment to personal and athletic growth.

What is the Alliance Fastpitch Player Recognition Program?

The Player Recognition Program was built to recognize and spotlight our individual players in each Member League. Each month, registered Alliance Fastpitch coaches can nominate a player from their age division. League Leadership will review nominations and a monthly stats report from AthletesGoLive (AGL) to determine the League’s Player of the Month.

Following the announcement of each League’s Players of the Month, the Alliance Fastpitch will recognize a National Player of the Month. To be considered for Player of the Month, your team must score League games in AGL so your stats will be included in the League’s monthly report.
