The Alliance Fastpitch proudly announces Delia Blanchet from the PCFL as National Player of the Month for her remarkable play in January 2025. Delia, a versatile player for Batbusters Vazquez Rueter, excels in the infield—SS. Her January stats include a .636 batting average, a .652 OBP, 6 singles, 3 doubles, 4 homeruns, and 11 RBIs. 

Delia Blanchet’s softball journey begins at the age of 5 when she plays for Tustin Girls Softball. From the very start, she falls in love with the sport. Her father, who played baseball, has always been her biggest inspiration and continues to influence her path in the game.

One of Delia’s most cherished memories on the field occurs when she hits her first over-the-fence home run in 10U. The fence had always seemed so far out of reach, but that moment when she finally clears it stands as a proud achievement.

Delia’s favorite player is Tiare Jennings, whose skill and passion for the game inspire her. Outside of softball, Delia finds joy in working out, dedicating much of her time to physical training and fitness.

Looking ahead, Delia’s current goals include continuing her softball career, aiming for prestigious universities like UCLA or Stanford. She also hopes to continue the family business, working as a mortgage banker and softball coach.The Alliance Fastpitch commends Delia Blanchet on her well-deserved recognition as Player of the Month, acknowledging her outstanding contributions to the sport and her commitment to personal and athletic growth.

What is the Alliance Fastpitch Player Recognition Program?

The Player Recognition Program was built to recognize and spotlight our individual players in each Member League. Each month, registered Alliance Fastpitch coaches can nominate a player from their age division. League Leadership will review nominations and a monthly stats report from AthletesGoLive (AGL) to determine the League’s Player of the Month.

Following the announcement of each League’s Players of the Month, the Alliance Fastpitch will recognize a National Player of the Month. To be considered for Player of the Month, your team must score League games in AGL so your stats will be included in the League’s monthly report.
