Averie Eckhart Named Alliance Fastpitch National Player of the Month for May

Averie Eckhart (2029), representing the NWFL, has been named Alliance Fastpitch’s National Player of the Month for May 2025. Eckhart, hailing from the Crossfire Fastpitch Fore 14U, proves to be a versatile force on the field.
Throughout May, Eckhart achieved impressive numbers at the plate, hitting .607 with a .686 on-base percentage. She tallied nine singles, 10 RBIs, and adds 4 doubles, 3 triples, and a home run to her stat line, showcasing her power and consistency as a hitter.
Eckhart’s softball journey began in West Valley Little League, where she started playing T-Ball at a young age. Even then, her focus and determination set her apart.
Her favorite softball memory is a landmark one—not just for her, but for Idaho. In 2024, Eckhart and her team became the first from the state to play in the Little League Softball World Series. They punch their ticket in San Bernardino, California, then head to Greenville, North Carolina, for the World Series. Playing on ESPN, meeting Athletes Unlimited stars like Maya Brady, and navigating Hurricane Debby’s wild weather made the adventure unforgettable.
When it comes to players she looks up to, Eckhart’s favorite is Bella Dayton. Off the field, she thrives outdoors. She enjoys snowboarding, paddleboarding, fishing, hunting or drawing to relax.
Long term, Eckhart is passionate about mental health, and she hopes to mentor younger athletes and one day coach the next generation.

What is the Alliance Fastpitch Player Recognition Program?
The Player Recognition Program was built to recognize and spotlight our individual players in each Member League. Each month, registered Alliance Fastpitch coaches can nominate a player from their age division. League Leadership will review nominations and a monthly stats report from AthletesGoLive (AGL) to determine the League’s Player of the Month.
Following the announcement of each League’s Players of the Month, the Alliance Fastpitch will recognize a National Player of the Month. To be considered for Player of the Month, your team must score League games in AGL so your stats will be included in the League’s monthly report.
